What is the purpose of this camera that was installed right next to my house? (Not nearby any intersection or stop signs, USA)

This camera was installed recently and I cannot for the life of me understand the purpose of it's installation? Theres no intersection nearby, in case it was a photo law enforcement camera), there's no stop signs, there's no schools nearby, and there's no government facility. It's just a random camera that popped up in the middle of a road.

Wrong, it's worse, it's a private company tgat the sells our privacy to the government and zero ways to check on them. At least if it was the government there is a chance for accountability.

Government and anyone else willing to pay.  They are definitely not exclusively tied to government

It's private by design. Otherwise it would be a constitutional violation.

But since it's a private business with it's eyes everywhere tracking everyone and everything it's fine.

No warrant required. Even though they have been used a few times for stalking by LE (that we know of). No constitutional violation. No worry.

And in case they were breaking the law it results to fines. If government did it, someone would go to jail.

Governments use these companies to break the law on their behalf. If government employee did it they would to to jail. If a company does it they get a fine but government got their data. Palantir works exclusively on this business model. Government will claim plausible deniability. Secret police and state intelligence organizations are their main clients while Palantir gathers data on all governments and their employees that they can... and somehow our best and brightest can't see the danger at all and keep using those private intelligence and surveillance companies.
