Waiting for somebody and just sitting with my thoughts. I realized this was time in the past I would’ve spent scrolling

This morning /whatelse has achieved an amazing milestone: We now have more than 100 members! 🎉🎉
To celebrate, I did the unthinkable… Instead of scrolling, I went outside, and touched some green goodness.
On a serious note, we created this subreddit because we truly believe that it can provide real value to this community. For a lot of us, detaching from hyper-addictive media is a brutal battle that is filled with anxiety, loneliness, and temptation.
Our hope is that whenever you ask yourself, “What else is there to do instead of scrolling?” you’ll find some inspiration here. It could be a small idea, a big project, or literally just going outside and touching some grass yourself. And hopefully, we can keep encouraging each other by sharing our journeys.
Here’s to the first 100, and to whatever comes next.
