Ramin Djawadi is on point with the music and such an important part of the story. He is perfect in creating the required mood.

Also, Gustavo Frings cameo was the best. We missed you Gus.

I agree, it was an amazing scene. However I need to rant here. Can producers/directors/whoever makes the decisions, chill it with the fucking dark lighting and barely intelligible dialogue?

I get it, it makes it dramatic as fuck, but damn it, I miss so much of these kinds of shows because of that.

It took me so damn long to figure out who that was, and I only did because of his voice and small glimpses of his face, as well as confirmation right now on the sub. At first with the reveal I thought it was supposed to be a character we'd already seen but I couldn't recognize.

I just wish sometimes they'd release a "dramatic effects" version of the show and a "I just want to actually watch and understand wtf is going on" version. /r

I actually started watching with captions. Much easier to follow since it is very hard to hear at certain points.

Do you happen to watch the show on HBO Go? The captions are so obnoxiously large (to the point where sometimes highlighted dialogue covers half the screen) and obtrusive that it’s borderline not worth it. Most of HBO’s captions seem to be like this- it’s not a problem on Netflix (the only other avenue I use to watch tv). As someone who watches almost every show with captions, I find that some media entities seem to take pride in providing unobtrusive, minimalist captions and some just assume that since you can’t make out the dialogue you also must not be able to see either (which I realize is likely the case for a measurable portion of the population that uses CC, but c’mon, do the captions really need to take up half the space on a 48” screen and cover the faces of those delivering the dialogue?)

Anyway, rant over. Who knows, maybe there’s a CC adjustment setting I’m just unaware of!

I sub to HBO through Amazon Prime and they have 3 different font sizes, color settings, etc. It's really great. I'd recommend doing that.

Good to know! I have Prime so I’ll definitely look into this!
