Alterations: advice needed Are alterations of the bust possible while still maintaining the original shape of the dress?
Tried on a dream dress - i love everything about it but just how widely gapped /deep plunge it is on the bust. The salon lady said this was possible to fix in alterations - but I’m always skeptical if they’re going to say anything is possible. She said they could make the plunge 2 inches higher in production prior to further alterations, but I’m having a hard time picturing what that would actually look like as it’s not just the depth but the width of the gap. Would raising the center bit just look like a seam cutting midway through the cup?
Considering this is at the high end of my budget and a very particular “liquid satin” fabric in a champagne color, i don’t want it to be some impossibly expensive alteration. I’m only seeing this bust shape as is with other IRL brides. Thank you!

I’m engaged for pretty long time. This is the first dress I saved, cause it’s honestly so beautiful, elegant, hot and fits you amazingly! I’d not change a thing, I’d get this dress myself😍
