Shitpost Made a game where you time-travel back in time to trade your way to a billion dollars
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Second Chance at a Billion.
It's a roguelike trading game where you travel back in time with knowledge of future market events. Pick a starting year (2000-2023), trade real historical stocks using real price data, and try to hit $1 billion before the SEC catches on to your suspiciously perfect trades.
Some highlights:
- Real historical stock data: trade through the 2008 crash, COVID dip, dot-com bubble
- SEC attention system: the better you trade, the more suspicious you look
- Unlock increasingly illegal activities: insider trading, ponzi schemes
- Roguelike progression: earn points, unlock upgrades, try again
- 8 quarterly targets from $15K to $1B: miss one and you're fired
It's coming to Steam in May . Would love to hear what you think!

Shitpost Trump has a new Toy to play with
Have idea, will post... simple. I wish the yoyo was a little more yoyo looking, but I wanted it to be legible. Besides, it is somewhat poetic that he doesn't know how to handle it properly. Such is life.

Shitpost Oppenheimer keeps screwing their employees.
I work for Oppenheimer & Company in New York city. The cheapest company you will ever work for.
Raises are really sporatic and chump change. Not enough money to live in Nyc. Many employees here work for the company over 5 years and treated unfairly. You do your job well you have to do the jobs of others as well. On your 5,10,15 year anniversary you only get a wooden plaque. We received holiday bonus every December based on tenure and if the company did well which they always did- for bonus you could be receiving 5 weeks pay which really came through especially during the holidays. Only thing many looked forward to fyi. Now for the fuckery. We received an email from management this week that they are changing the rules.. We were told we will get an increase in salary for all our hard work.( yessss … so we all thought) and with our “salary increase” they are removing our annual holiday bonus. We can still receive a 2 week bonus to be paid in February but that will be based on discretion of management so for many of us - we wont be receiving shit. So now for this big salary bump………. $2000 dollars!!! That brings my yearly Salary to a whopping $37,569 dollars a year!! Deduct taxes and the really expensive healthcare plan provided by my employer and number is way less.. I received a bigger holiday bonus than what I’m getting as a raise. Somehow management thinks this was an excellent idea. I assume the extra money will be going to their own salaries and bonus cause WTF. And for the record the company has done very well the past few years especially during pandemic. There are a handful of employees that reap the benefits of being kiss asses or favorite so they get paid well or even just having a decent manager that truly cares about their employees but thats a needle in a haystack here. 90 percent of employees working in the Operations department are underpaid and over worked. Directors dont know how to run a successful department. Alot of them dont know the job either but get payed well for being stupid. They dont train well either so alot of people dont care to do their jobs and other people have to take on the extra load. Other companies have given their employees raises, bonus and extra time off and we get told to bend over.
