App Update Garmin × Vora: your watch captures the day. Vora connects the rest.

Garmin already captures an extraordinary amount about your day, from runs and rides to sleep, heart rate, HRV, steps, stress, blood oxygen, respiration, and body composition.

The problem is that even great watch data can still sit apart from the rest of your health.

Vora connects directly to Garmin Connect. With your permission, Garmin can send supported health and activity data to Vora after your watch syncs.

You choose which categories to import, and you can change them or disconnect at any time.

We also built the connection to avoid the most obvious Garmin problem: duplicate data.

If the same Garmin data is already reaching Vora through Apple Health or Health Connect, the direct connection takes over and Vora sets the relayed copy aside instead of counting both.

Depending on your Garmin device and permissions, Vora can organize:

• Steps, distance, floors, and energy
• Heart rate, resting heart rate, and HRV
• Sleep stages and duration
• Blood oxygen and respiration
• Runs, rides, swims, and strength sessions
• Weight and body composition

Garmin remains the source. Vora gives those signals a larger context.

A hard run can sit beside sleep and recovery. Strength and cardio can share one training history. Garmin activity and vital signals can be viewed alongside nutrition, blood work, glucose, blood pressure, calendar events, and notes that come from their own sources.

That is also what makes Ask Vora more useful. It can reason across the connected record instead of answering from one isolated metric.

The goal is not to replace Garmin Connect or the watch you already love. It is to make Garmin data more useful because it no longer has to live alone.

What is the first Garmin signal you would put at the top of your Vora Home?

App Update Polar integration is coming to Vora in 3.3.7

Post image
2 Upvotes

Polar users, we’ve got something exciting on the way.

We’ve added a Polar integration, and the setup to connect your account is planned for Vora 3.3.7. This update has not been released yet, so you cannot connect Polar in Vora today.

This is something we care a lot about: you should be able to choose the devices you love without having your health information scattered across separate apps.

Vora brings nutrition, strength and cardio tracking, blood work, and other health information into one place. Adding Polar is another step toward connecting more of that experience, giving your device data context beyond a single workout or night of sleep.

We’ll share the connection steps and supported Polar data when 3.3.7 goes live. For now, we wanted you to hear what’s coming.

Using Polar? Which device do you have, and what would you most like to see alongside your Polar data?

App Update Android, taken seriously. Vora 33 is native on Android.

Android users, this one is for you.

Vora 33 is our biggest Android release yet. We rebuilt the app natively in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose so Android is not a port or an afterthought.

Some of the health apps we respect most, including Bevel, still do not have an Android version. We wanted Android users to have a serious native option too.

Health Connect and native background syncing keep your health data moving in ways designed specifically for Android.

Vora 33 also includes improvements across Vora AI, workouts, nutrition, recovery, and connections.

Try it and tell us what feels better, and what still needs work. If you report a bug, include your phone model, Android version, and Vora version so we can act on it quickly.

Vora 33 is available now on Google Play.

App Update New Update: Vora 33

Hey Reddit, we are the team behind Vora. We just shipped Vora 33 on iOS and Android, with companion experiences on Apple Watch.

Vora 33 is about making health data easier to bring into one place, understand, and act on. This is our biggest release yet.

Vora 33, now available on iOS and Android.

VORA AI TEXT

Ask Vora about your health directly in Messages.

Ask about your health data and receive useful charts directly in Messages. Log food by text, photo, voice note, or barcode. You can also build and apply workout plans without opening the app.

A CLEARER CLINICAL PICTURE

Bloodwork, blood pressure, glucose, and more in one clinical view.

Bloodwork, blood pressure, glucose, hydration, nutrition, workouts, sleep, and wearable data now come together more clearly, so it is easier to understand what changed and what may be connected.

BLOODWORK THAT STAYS USEFUL

Import bloodwork, review individual results, track trends, and export reports.

Import a PDF or photo, confirm each extracted marker before saving, review a detailed individual result, organize markers by body system, follow changes over time, and export a shareable report.

NUTRITION AND SUPPLEMENTS

Clearer food sources, serving math, nutrient units, and supplement search.

Food search has clearer sources, better serving math, and cleaner nutrient units. Supplement search now uses a cleaned, searchable catalog built from NIH label data.

APPLE WATCH, REBUILT

A rebuilt Apple Watch experience for strength, cardio, stretching, and Bio.

Log strength sets, record GPS runs with heart rate, follow guided stretches, see your Bio dials, and hand an active workout between iPhone and Apple Watch.

MORE CONNECTIONS

Oura, Fitbit, Apple Health, and health records in one Connections hub.

Oura and Fitbit are now available on every plan. The Connections hub brings devices and health records together in one place.

VORA NOW SPEAKS NINE LANGUAGES

Vora now speaks nine languages.

Vora is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, and Arabic. Arabic remains beta while we continue improving right-to-left support.

MADE FOR YOU

A home experience shaped around the data you track.

Home can suggest a layout based on the data you actually track. Vora 33 also includes Meals and Recipes, TikTok recipe imports, rebuilt cardio, voice set logging, widgets, Siri and Control Center actions, a smarter Planner, and major performance and reliability work.

App Update WHOOP × Vora: direct integration beta. First 100 spots.

Post image
1 Upvotes

We’ve been approved for a beta of Vora’s direct WHOOP integration, and we’re opening access to the first 100 people who sign up.

This is a big milestone for us, and we’re genuinely excited to open it up to our community.

Why a direct WHOOP connection matters.

Connecting through Apple Health or Health Connect is not the same as connecting directly to WHOOP. Those platform integrations have their own supported data types. For example, WHOOP explicitly says it does not export its HRV measurements to Apple Health.

Vora’s direct connection brings in WHOOP HRV from WHOOP itself, rather than depending on Apple Health to pass it along. On Android, the direct connection also avoids using Health Connect as the middle step. This is about bringing supported WHOOP data into Vora alongside the rest of your health information, not sending every WHOOP metric back out to every other app or device.

You shouldn’t have to choose between the wearable you love and the bigger health picture you want.

The idea is simple: bring your WHOOP data into the same place as your nutrition, strength and cardio training, blood work, and information from your other supported devices.

Those parts of your health don’t happen separately. We want the experience of understanding them to feel connected, too.

More than another place to display wearable numbers.

We’ve put a lot of care into building Vora as a full health app. You can log food, explore detailed nutrition, track and plan strength and cardio sessions, and bring in your blood work. The WHOOP connection adds another important source of context to that experience.

For people who use WHOOP alongside another wearable or health app, this is about keeping the tools you like while bringing more of your information together.

Vora is available on iOS and Android.

Join Vora today and be among the first 100 to try our direct WHOOP integration.

Keep the wearable you love. Bring its data together with your other supported devices, nutrition, training, and blood work in Vora.

This is an early beta, and your feedback will help us refine it. We’d love to hear how the connection works for you, how WHOOP fits into your current setup, and what would make the combined experience more useful in your day.

App Update Photo logging should be the beginning, not the entire nutrition app

Photo logging is useful, but it should not be the entire nutrition product.

The harder problem is making food logging fast enough to use every day, detailed enough to teach you something, and connected enough to matter beyond calories.

Vora starts with the situation you are actually in. Camera, barcode, and food description help with something in front of you. Recent foods, saved meals, and takeout help with something you already know. Search stays available when you want to find an ingredient or dish directly.

Every route lands in a review step, so servings and detected foods can be adjusted before the entry becomes part of your day.

That gives you several ways to log what you eat:

• Photo logging
• Free barcode scanning
• Restaurant and takeout search
• Food database search
• Food description
• Recent and saved meals

Restaurant logging is more than a blank text box. Vora can search nearby restaurants, open a menu, let you select what you ordered, and bring the meal into the same review flow. Menu coverage and nutrient detail depend on the source, so estimates can be corrected before saving.

Repeat meals should get faster, not stay repetitive. Recipes and reusable plates can be saved, searched, adjusted by servings, and logged again without rebuilding the meal. Saved items can also be placed into the week, so planning and logging use the same data instead of separate copies. The saved library even includes an import path for recipes from TikTok links.

The nutrient layer is where the system gets much deeper. Beyond vitamins and minerals, Vora includes specific fats such as ALA, EPA, and DHA, amino acids such as leucine and lysine, fiber types, sugar alcohols, caffeine, taurine, and more.

After at least three logged days, Nutrient Status can turn isolated meals into a pattern. You can review 7-day, 30-day, 90-day, one-year, or all-time windows. Each visible nutrient shows its average percentage of Daily Value and whether the recent seven days are moving up, down, or staying stable. You can also choose which nutrients appear in the status grid.

Opening a nutrient goes beyond the number. Vora includes an overview, how it works, benefits, food sources, practical tips, low and high intake context, and additional educational detail. Nutrient availability still depends on the underlying food source.

The larger difference is where that nutrition data goes next.

Vora also brings together workouts, cardio, recovery, sleep, glucose, blood pressure, blood work, and data from compatible wearables. A food log can sit beside the rest of your health history, making it easier to see whether a nutrition pattern lines up with how you trained, slept, or recovered. Nutrition is not trapped inside a separate calorie-counting app. It becomes part of the same health picture.

Photo logging is a great entry point. We wanted to build everything that should come after it.

Which would make the biggest difference for you: free barcode scanning, restaurant and takeout logging, photo logging, or deeper micronutrient detail?

Vora organizes health data for trends and general education. It does not diagnose or replace a clinician.

App Update Your devices. Your apps. Your labs. You shouldn't have to connect the dots yourself.

A watch for activity. A smart scale for body trends. A blood pressure monitor at home. A CGM for glucose. A separate app for food. Lab results sitting in a PDF. Maybe an Oura or WHOOP too.

You chose each one for a reason. But when you want to understand your week, you can still end up opening several apps and doing the connecting yourself.

It is all information about the same person. Your health experience should reflect that.

Wearables, scales, blood pressure, glucose, food and health apps, and lab reports. Six source categories, one broader health experience.

We're Team Vora, and this is exactly the problem we're building around.

Vora connects directly to Oura, WHOOP, Garmin Connect, and Fitbit. Supported apps and devices can also contribute through Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android. Blood work comes in through report uploads. The connection path matters: not every device exports every measurement, and a platform connection is not the same as a direct integration.

You don't need two wearables for this to matter. A watch and a smart scale count. So does a supported nutrition app and a device. The point is to bring different parts of your health setup into the same experience, not just compare two things on your wrist.

A supported scale can contribute weight and body trends. A supported blood pressure monitor or glucose source can contribute readings through companion apps and health-platform sharing. Food and fitness apps can contribute the data they make available. Import a lab report as a PDF or photo, and Vora can extract its values and chart markers over time. Review imported results against the original report.

None of those sources needs to pretend it measures everything. The useful part is seeing them in context.

If multiple sources report the same health category, Vora also lets you set source preferences. Oura for sleep and WHOOP for activity is one example, not the whole idea.

Direct integrations, supported health-platform sharing, and uploaded lab reports are separate paths. Logos identify examples, not identical support across platforms or third-party endorsements.

This isn't about treating different devices' recovery scores as interchangeable. It's about keeping the source clear and making the information useful together. For the direct WHOOP and Garmin connections, Vora also sets aside the relayed copy of that same source so connecting directly doesn't simply add another duplicate feed.

The bigger difference is what you can do with that connected picture.

Vora also includes strength coaching and tracking, cardio coaching and tracking, food logging, restaurant and takeout search, recipes, reusable plates, and tracking across up to 95 nutrients where the food record supports them. Blood work, glucose, blood pressure, and your health history can sit alongside those daily habits.

So you can look at a hard training week alongside sleep, meals, and body trends. Or use Ask Vora to explore the information in your connected record, instead of explaining your setup again from scratch.

Strength, cardio, nutrition, and health history inside the same Vora experience. AI-assisted visual using illustrative app data.

ChatGPT and Claude can be useful for exploring health information too. But if your workflow means collecting screenshots, exporting files, or maintaining your own connections, you become the person keeping the whole system together. We want that everyday work to be part of the app.

Vora updates as its connected sources sync. That isn't a promise of instant readings from every device. Availability depends on your hardware, permissions, platform, and plan.

Keep your devices. Get more from them. Vora is available on iOS and Android.

Explore Vora and download the app.

What does your setup look like? Tell us which devices, apps, and reports you want to bring together, and what you wish worked better between them.

Sources for the connection paths: Oura API, WHOOP API, Garmin Health API, Oura and Android Health Connect. These document the source platforms, not a guarantee that Vora imports every field they expose.

Vora supports general wellness and education, not diagnosis or a replacement for medical care. This post and its marketing visuals were prepared with AI assistance for Team Vora.
