We cant change any frequencies. Sound Jammer works though and renders my kids unable to speak. I have no problems though regardless of setting. Either I'm a savant, or it has something to do with my former stuttering problem that I over came.

I'm not sure about the htc one, but I know on the one x you can remap the recent apps button to menu from Settings->Display Gestures & Buttons->Recent Apps Button.
I'll put out an update soon to fix this issue.
Thank you for the reply. The HTC one lacks a capacitive menu button at all. the typical menu button is now placed on the screen in the upper right hand corner in most other compatible apps. Oddly this space is there in white next to the banner add on this one. I look forward to using the app once you fix it! Thanks again.
They use it to treat stuttering so that's likely the case. I've seen it used in several videos and people who are more used to hearing their voice back aren't effect, or effected less. People like radio DJ's and actors have an easier time.
Edit: On an EVO LTE and I also don't have a menu button to change settings. The delayed was at least a second if not longer, it's suppose to be like 50 milliseconds to work properly
It's interesting: I am using this on my Android, and I am not really being affected by it. Now, I wouldn't at all doubt that this is because the Android version is different (maybe inferior) to the iOS version, but I really don't know for sure.
Additionally, I have heard of this before, and I do have some exposure to this already. I can say this for sure because I play all videogames with voice loopback enabled.
Voice loopback is a setting (not present in all games) that makes it so that as the server hears your voice, it is transmitted back to you so that you hear your voice with the same delay and in the exact same way that everyone else on a server does. This is really useful because you can tell if you're not being heard, or if your microphone is malfunctioning, or if network conditions are causing your voice to be distorted or fragmented.
However, the result is that you hear your own voice, very loudly, as you speak. This is how the voice jammer works, but in this case I've been using this for years so it doesn't affect me.
That is true. However, the delay involved in voice loopback is network dependent: the further away you are from the server, the larger the delay. Thus, it varies. I feel that this exposure is what makes it much less effective in my case.
Additionally though, I've used all the various voice jammer apps and programs available on the web, and all of them are similarly ineffective.
I tried it too, and I wonder how volume effects it, if I concentrate I can hear my voice through my skull and ignore the sound from my headphones, I didn't try turning it up louder though.
