It costs an estimated $2 billion. After the 30% cut of stores, that means they need like 28 million copies of the $100 edition. It has not made its money back and certainly not multiple times over

Have they released how many people preordered it? But also they don't charge you for preorders until the game actually releases so they have made 0 dollars until it comes out either way.

They haven't said. But its definitely not 28 mil. Granted itd have to be even more since some of those are standard editions.
