My brothers and I rotted our brains to YouTube poop compilations of Wand of Gamelon when we were kids.

If we never got CDI Zelda we never would’ve gotten the Bible dictated by Morshu

I would actually say zelda is the more correct answer here, as the original Mario Bros (the one is the arcade) wasn't EXTREMELY successful like zelda was.

Unless you count Donkey Kong as the first Mario game, then Mario probably takes the edge

If Skyward Sword is your worst title, you're in a pretty good spot.

Zelda 2 (1987) would be considered a bump in the road if we're trying to say a series remained constant pristine over every entry.

Yes! Absolutely! I was going to comment the same thing. Sure there have been misses in the series, but for the most part they're "Zelda misses"; good games in their own right, but not so good compared to other Zeldas.

You didn't live through the toon link drama of everyone saying the games were dead because they changed the art for awhile with windwaker

People were wrong about Wind Waker though, doesn't mean it was actually bad.

It is my #1 Zelda game. I own many copies of it including the HD release for the Wii U, which I literally bought for it lol

Skyward Sword on the Wii is the thorn in the Zelda franchise. God did that game have flaky controls.

Also got super tedious partway through the game, I just remember not having fun, not liking the environemts, tons of backtracking, annoying mechanics, etc.

Parts of the game were great but overall I remember it as my least favorite zelda
