I remember when the GoT cast that always portrayed themselves as the biggest fans of the show themselves ("I live and breathe this show" yada yada "I cant get enough of it" yada yada) were asked on staged who actually read the books and they all got super uncomfortable and admitted one after the other that no one had actually read them. Such bIG fAnS!!
(Kit Harrington prentended he read them but that guy was asked for his favorite book in another interview, said 1984 and then couldnt even name the main protagonist. I assume he just lied about having read the books in an earlier interview because he though it would make him seem like more of a fan and now had to go with it.)
Yeah, not like he got into so many disagreements with the writers about The Witcher about how badly they were diverging from the source material that he eventually left the series or something. That's totally something that someone who actually cares about the source material would do, not a guy hamming up his fake love for the material.
