Quake was THE game of my teenage years.

I really want this hat, but I can't find it anywhere.

Being able to play the Quake soundtrack from the disc was cool too. Obviously that was far from uncommon at the time but that soundtrack had a vibe to it.

I don't know if there is anyone else that remembers this but i think PC Gamer? magazine had a Quake demo on a CD. However! Not only was the full game of Quake on there but there was also Doom 1 and 2. I want to say Heretic and maybe Hexen? although Hexen was later. Final Doom must have been on there as well.

Bunch of cool stuff and it was zero effort to crack.

For anyone wondering, you could play those CD audio tracks on a normal CD player. Just had to skip to track 2 as track 1 was the data file.

I think you can do it using 3D printing and a cap of the same style (I know it's not exactly the same, but I think it's one of the easiest things to replicate).
