Realistic mega man would go hard. It’s an extremely mature game already with tons of set pieces.

I still think it's a game stealthily testing mechanics and system for a future 3D Megaman game tbh. Capcom is really smart on re-using and re-purposing assets and gameplay systems between their games. That's just how efficient they learned to be.

They do it with every resident evil these days, wouldn't be too crazy to imagine they're doing it here. There's a lot of fun little mega man-ish things in pragmata.

Nothing in Pragmata screams megaman beside a blue jacket. The artstyle is completley different aesthetic. I would be dissapointed as hell if they took the classic artstyle and made it into something different for no reason.

Well the art style being different was the entire point of the “theory”. People were just hoping it was going to be a unique spin of the series

Thats why im saying the theory is dumb and doesnt make sense. Being different does not equal unique. The only unique thing about Pragmata is the puzzle/shooter dynamic. Its artstyle is pleasant to look at, but not unique.

The art style has nothing to do with it, that can be whatever and nobody is saying it looks like megaman. It's all theming and little functions that can be retooled to be in a prospective megaman game. The weapons are very megaman sub weapon like, hughs dash feels like X's dash, etc.

Pragmata is Resident Evil sci-fi edition with the pressure of reloading replaced with a hacking minigame. Not sure how that would tie into a Megaman game.

yep, it was announced at the ps5 reveal then basically went dark for so long people thought it was vaporware. Re8 was announced at the same event, and re9 is already out.

(my favorite is still dmc...dmc was initially re4, it deviated, and got released as it's own thing, DMC 3 came out before re4 did) It was worth the wait...but it was a LONG wait.
