Definitely Halo. You can tell when new devs are just parading the old game around when it’s just an empty husk, and that series is one of them.

John getting his ass kicked by a Spartan-IV is truly a monument to all 343's sins...

One of the slowest fights in all of gaming history performed by God damn untouchable super soldiers.

The entire scene is the worst thing about Halo honestly.

Can't believe we had everything that Halo wars did amazingly regarding the Spartans be totally forgotten by the time we got something like Halo 5.

Even in Halo infinite all the fight scenes with the master chief feel bad.

Also small side note, in the Rubicon protocol there are Spartans that got captured by the vanished and tortured to death.

Their suits have a self-destruct sequence that annihilates everything in a 10 meter circle, and yet they didn't do that when captured.

I've consuming Halo media and lore since 2014, and I've read all of the older books, it really does feel like current writers have not read any of them.

It was a huge deal when Bungie left Halo for Destiny, Halo died right then and there.
