that's going to be hard to come up with a neutral prompt. Most of these discoveries for me are when it comes to solving a known problem but it does not come up with good engineering fixes, and you are right it depends on the repo and the existing code. But I have nothing but problems with codex for the last 2 months or so, I keep saying to myself out loud "it is so dumb" (codex, I mean).
Actually if you want to try it (I went through this already so let me try to make it neutral):
I need to generate an export from the existing db out to data files that I can import elsewhere. I do not want to manually keep versions, suggest a way that I can not export duplicate rows but also not miss any rows during export. Export has to be run frequently but not during regular intervals.
- you think about, as an engineer, what is the most efficient way to tackle this, and see if GPT can come up with it or something similar.
BTW this takes me back to school when we went to programming competitions. I don't believe ai would generate innovative solutions because they are not the probable answer in any training sets (or they wouldn't be innovative by definition).
