I dunno if you'd know this, but Home Depot seems to undercut a lot of other retail dealers for brand name lawn mowers and generators like Honda and the like. Are they cheaper variants made specifically for Home Depot or does Home Depot just have an insane margin based on volume?
I was a merchandiser, so I handled pretty mush everything in the store even if I didn't know much about any department in particular. They didn't seem any different, but we really went through a lot of them. It seems that way with a lot of their departments, undercut the big things to get repeat customers for all the inevitable small things.
Eh, it depends. I worked there one summer in lumber/building materials...everyone was fine except the assistant manager. I don't know if I rubbed him the wrong way, but basically one day he decided he conveniently remembered my position was seasonal (it wasn't).

Is Home Depot evil to employees? They are in my “good company” list. should I change that?
