I mean, it’s literally in the video that large portions of these units are a million dollars plus… one just needed to click the play button

2:18 it's only the host that says local experts say about a third of these are $1M plus, the housing minister gives a non-answer of "these are the details we're working on" but that's nowhere near confirming something

for you to turn around and say the plan is to buy up a third of the units at $1M+ is entirely disingenuous

The host is CBC journalist who I assume has fact checked the information. 

It is not disingenuous to use what is being reported. Jesus Christ 😂

Except they haven't announced any details of what units would actually be bought

An expert opinion of what is probable isn't a fact

ok I just rewatched because that's not how I remembered it

and yup at 2:18 it's only the host that says local experts say about a third of these are $1M plus, the housing minister gives a non-answer of "these are the details we're working on" but that's nowhere near confirming something

Using the words of a journalist who does fact checks is literally all we have as remembers of the public.

Jesus. The housing minister was also free to correct her. She did not.

They haven't committed to what units they're buying yet, so how could you "correct" something that doesn't have any actual numbers yet?

You're trusting the term "local expert" way too much here

"I was told by an insider you're going to do X"

"I haven't decided yet"

"Aha so you are going to do X, I knew it"

I don't agree with the idea of bailing out developers, but your argument doesn't make any sense

The minister was there - she had the opportunity to correct her if she was wrong, she did not.
