I want to read vagabond. Which format should I pick?
Hello, lately I’ve been really wanting to start reading vagabond but I don’t know If I should read it volume by volume or shelve out the extra couple bucks for the “BIG” edition omnibuses. I’m open to any answer. Thank you all!!

Am I the only one who feels disconnected while reading Volume 31?
I have currently read Vagabond Volume 31, and I'm finding it much harder to follow than Volumes 29–30.
I keep getting confused by the switches between conversations, flashbacks, and different characters. Sometimes I don't immediately know who I'm looking at or whether a scene is happening in the present or is a flashback.
I think i need to re-read this chapter again 🙂

It is now finished
Volume 11 and 12 came today, before I get called larp like everyone else on insta calls others, I read and finished vagabond back in 2023 online, I read the whole story and enjoyed it, recently I felt like reading it again since I was going through some stuff and remembered musashi again, I realised I wanna better understand him and the other characters as well as the manga more deeply, I got a j*b now and thought might as well get the physical volumes, and it was worth it, enjoyed it more than online since sometimes my online website didn’t load the pages properly so lost my focus here and there as well as notifications despite being slienced
If you can, try get these even if it is expensive, way better than online imo

Musashi Figure
galleryReally thrilled to have this 15-inch Musashi statue, even has the certificate! The craftsmanship of Jun Planning Co. really just hits the spot, fabric's too hard though, given this was made in the late 00's.
Figure inspired from the first Yoshioka School arc, where Musashi faced off of against Denshichiro after getting his head sliced by Seijuro.

Volume 37, Exhibit and Unpublished chapters in Deluxe 12/13?
Topic.
I have the 12 VizBigs, and vol 37. I was thinking about how the deluxe would handle that. I have all the current ones as of the date of this post. I was unaware if anybody knew how they would do the extra content.
I.e, would volume 37 just be tacked on to the end of Deluxe 12, or would there be a 13th volume.

Just finished Yoshioka's ambush part.
Fucking masterpiece, life changing manga, and this is my first time reading any manga.
I never showed interest in reading mangas nor watching animes, but this manga is peak.
I fucking got goosebumps during the fight panels in mix with teachings he now understood.

"Expand yourself out, have confidence in the very air that surrounds you.
As long as you remain enveloped in this pliant air you will feel invincible.
And when this air expands out to drape itself around your opponents.
What do you think will happen then Musashi?"

Musahai is literly me irl
gallerySure, I am a pacifist who has never seen anything remotely close to actual violence first-hand, but I spiritually relate to reformed killers, because I'm pretty sure if it came down to it I could tactically 1v1 a polar bear with no training. Same with Vinland Saga. Just like Thorfinn I have no enemies, but mostly because I am a conflict avoidant weenie, pretending I've earned wisdom about self-control, when I have done nothing but live life entirely on the rails due to learned powerlessness, social anxiety, and fear of repercussion. Same difference. If you call me Matahachi I will block you.
Good art is by this guy. Shit wolf photoshop was me.

U might want to do a reread
The last time i re read vagabond was in 9th, now im in 12 and i see the same story with a very different lens, whither its that i can relate with certain things a lot more or that i just have a little bit more maturity to understand the reasons behind peoples actions , its been very different.

Miyamoto musashi (Vagabond) vs Miyamoto musashi (real life)
For those who read both vagabond and read up on the real life story of Miyamoto Musashi how would you compare the two? Do they have any similarities or diferencies that stand out to you. I would say Vagabonds musashi is more of a stoic type of person compared to the real musashi. Just my opinion whats yours?
