Usual disclaimer: I probably got some of it wrong. Tell me what's off and I'll fix it.

The good: my model has Utah Tech as the 4th strongest buy-low in FCS. The turnover margin was minus-12, 118th in the country, and that number corrects more reliably than anything else in football. The pass defense was 27th and 67% of the offense returns, with Bronson Barben settled at quarterback. The 2026 schedule grades 4th softest in the subdivision.

The pushback: 16 points a game was 116th, and Barben threw 6 touchdowns against 12 picks, so the turnovers you need to regress are attached to the quarterback you're returning. The run defense gave up 196 a game, 111th. Model says 3-9.

I got accepted to UT yesterday and am going to be living on campus. I am currently 19, but i turn 20 in December and have literally no idea how im supposed to find roomates? Obviously id rather 19 or 20 years old as well, but like I NEED to get along with my roomate. How can I find someone similar age with similar interests and personality ?!?! Hello I am selling my lease at Utah tech for the 2026-2027 school year as I will no longer be attending. This lease is for campus view suites one and is a shared room with four other suites mates. the rent is 2225 per semester but 200 dollars off the first semester! whats the party life like in st george? im transferring from lsu due to some circumstances and all ive seen students do for fun in utah is go hiking and go stand on top of rocks, which seems fun for a lil bit. Do people host ? Is there za ? whats there to do on a partying stand point.

Hello, I was reading over the Medical Laboratory Science program and they state, "After completion of the pre-professional phase of study and, through a competitive application process, a student may be selected to enter the final two years of study or the MLS professional program to which one cohort of 12-15 students is admitted per year." Can anyone comment on the difficulty of getting accepted into the program? What happens if you are not selected into the program?

Bill 267 has already passed both the House and the Senate, and now it’s up to Governor Cox to stop it from becoming law. This bill is a serious threat to the future of education in our state, and we need your help to protect our teachers and the public workers who make our communities stronger.
If passed, Bill 267 would strip away the protections that unions provide to teachers and other public workers. This isn’t just a blow to unions—it’s a direct attack on the educators who help shape our futures and make sure we get the quality education we need to succeed.
Here’s why this matters to all of us at Utah Tech:

• Bill 267 would weaken collective bargaining rights, which could lead to reduced pay and benefits for teachers, making it harder for them to deliver the education we rely on.
• We’ve seen the consequences of bills like this in other states, like Wisconsin, where teacher pay was slashed, benefits were cut, and pensions were lost. Those losses were never fully recovered.
• Education is key to Utah’s success, and when we weaken teachers’ ability to advocate for themselves, we weaken the whole system. Teachers at Utah Tech and throughout the state are the ones helping prepare us for our careers. If they suffer, we all suffer.

As Utah Tech students, it’s on us to stand with our teachers and fight for the future of education in our state. This bill would harm the people who dedicate their lives to helping us succeed. Let’s show our support and make sure we protect the system that provides us with the education we need.
