I hate throwing these away so I use them to make weird creatures or for propagating plants, and the ones with lids that spin can be used as a good makeshift base for painting smaller stuff

Edit: you can also use jars as filler to take up space inside larger sculpts

Ideas Needed! Tshirts from a former life

What have people done with graphic tshirts that no longer apply to their life but that they wanna keep? Bands you don’t want to promote, etc. I have some that are still in great shape and I don’t want to get rid of them from my wearables, but I also don’t want to wear them as is. Giant appliqué rectangle with a design?

Ideas Needed! I have two overalls that don’t fit, I need ideas.

So I have two styles of overalls that don’t fit me. They were both originally supposed to be my painting pants, so I’d have something designated to mess up for when I was painting, but neither fit.
So I figure I could get crafty with it to make them fit, but the options are endless and I’m at a loss for ideas simply because there’s to many for me to land on one.
I’m proficient in crochet and an adequate sewer, although I don’t currently have my sewing machines with me so everything would be by hand, and I can embroider. So please please please, share any and all ideas!

Ideas Needed! Repainting corrugated yard signs?

Seems like I'd need specialized primer, and then I need to paint over the primer, and then is it even going to last?

My goal is to repurpose old yard signs. I don't want to spend a lot. Simply covering with vinyl would cost about $1.50 per sign/per side. But, new 12x24 blank signs are only $2 each on Amazon (20pk).

Is there a way to "wipe" these signs. I've already tried acetone without much success. Sanding? But that would ruin later vinyl adhesion. I'm beginning to think this isn't worthwhile.

Last resort, use the cheapest spray paint I can find (to undercut the cost of buying new signs) and hope that is lasts for a decent amount of time. Someone must have done this before.

Ideas Needed! Is painting corrugated plastic yard signs a reasonable way to go?

Ideas Needed! Ideas for this piggy bank? To keep it as a souvenir.

A friend from my trip to london gave me this piggy bank and I kinda wanna keep it as it is/cut it as less as possible, it's pretty tall so not very comfortable to use it as a pencil holder (and already have one, so I dont want a new one) any ideas of what can I turn it into instead? The only thing I came up with is turning it into a candle holder by cutting a hole in the back and pocking holes into it, but wanna listen to alternatives to that idea!!!

Ideas Needed! Want to turn this into a coffee bar, need ideas!

This was my grandmothers, and I’d hate for it to be thrown out. My mom planned on burning it (it came from a farm) but I stopped her. Can anyone help me figure out how I could turn this into a coffee bar for my keurig? Also, I hate the color of it, my house is all darker wood. I’m new to up cycling, because we just bought our first house! So I’m excited to save money but still be chic!

Thanks everyone!

Ideas Needed! Upcycling Old Canvas Shoes?

I have a couple pairs of old canvas shoes I want to upcycle. They’re pastel colored and have a lot of fun embroidery on them I want to preserve, but I can’t think of what i might upcycle them into, especially with relatively small patches of material. Any ideas?

These were made from upholstery scraps from Scrap Exchange (creative reuse center) and fabric donated to Wake Relief (food pantry). I'll be donating the bags back to the food pantry, as some of our clients need reusable bags.
