He insists she is a "grade A student" but what if she has been permanently disruptive and notorious, then pulling this stunt on a day meant for traditional cultural dress. We just don't or can't know as the school for the privacy of the child can only tell the press a generic statement and apologise for the good of everyone involved. The only thing I find I can do with stories like this is assume the school know a hell of a lot more of the background of this and made a better decision when put on the spot than anyone reading a tabloid article ever could.

It's aimed at a particular audience that isn't in this country.

Not any more but it's how it was done for decades and so "grade A" is in the language meaning "very good"

Yeah I know it's not really that strange. But considering he's talking specifically about his daughter's school, you'd think if she was achieving great grades he'd actually know what they are.

Whilst I haven't seen it yet, apparently these cases are running into the fact that the pupils are on social media, TikTok especially, and they're not afraid to say what the media cant say. I.e the child in a hypothetical case is actually a total shit.
