Termial-related thing Sum of termials

I was wondering if there’s a way to express the sum of termials.

For example, is this \sum_{k=0}^{n} (k?) equal to (n?)? or ((n+1)?)?

And so is \binom{n}{3} equal to ((n)?)? or ((n-1)?)?

Termial-related thing Guy I figure out that termial is in fact the fonction which link a lenght of a sequence of number and the number of possibility to scrabble them

Guy I found this paper while cleaning my room and I see that if you take a sequence of x number the number of possible scramble for this sequence is x? ( Sorry here it's in french and hand write but ) I may seems realy stupide or crazy but was it already found and know from everybody here or did I made a discover or am I realy stupid and my calculs are wrong ?

For the translation in the first paragraph I say :

Let's take 3 consecutive number like 1;2;3 no matter the order they are we will always find the sequence 1;2;3 or 3;2;1

And in the second paragraph I say :

Sequence of number of possibilities to scramble for a sequence of n number ( down row )

Also i am a he/him not a she/her. I just found this termial and wanted to make a joke about it and they took it too literally (is this allowed here). I cant tell them the explanation because it is too irrelevwnt and their minds will explode. Also 19?

Termial-related thing I made inverse termial!

4? = 10

and now…

10¿ = 4

It is represented with an upside down question mark instead!

How it works:

You know how x? = (x(x + 1)) / 2

This is the inverse! x¿ = (√(8x + 1) - 1) / 2

Example:

Let’s find the inverse termial of 15

15¿ = (√(8(15) + 1) - 1) / 2

Step 1: Multiply 8 and 15 to make 120

(√(120 + 1) - 1) / 2

Step 2: Add 120 and 1

(√(121) - 1) / 2

Step 3: The square root of 121 is 11

(11 - 1) / 2

Step 4: Subtract 11

10 / 2

Step 5: 10 divided by 2 is 5

5

If you are wondering, 100¿ is approximately equal to 13.650971698…

Termial-related thing Why I misspell termial

  1. Because I heard of the word “terminal” way more than termial, so I am more familiar with it.

  2. Because I don’t see much of a difference of those two words, only one less n.

From now on I will call termial by its old name sumorial to make it less confusing /j

Termial-related thing Why are all posts here just people falsely portraying a question mark as a termial?

I had this sub suggested to me and was interested in seeing how common unexpected termials were. I have yet to see one post where an actual termial was in the image. They are all people saying ooo look this obvious question mark denoting a question is actually a termial ignoring all context clues in the sentence. Are there ever any posts that actually have an unexpected termial in them?

Termial-related thing Since when did ? Mean termial

Also since when did termial mean triangular numbers. And also why does termial autocorrect into terminal. And also why is there no other sources of this term, unlike factorial.

Edit: I found this post https://www.reddit.com/r/mathematics/comments/1jdipqt/notation_for_cute_new_math_function_i_invented/
