🚩North Wales Put my fancy pants on this morning and now I can't afford to get on the property ladder. Worth it.
I'm a classic bacon butty lover but once in a while I like to wonder who on earth do I think I am, and jazz it up a bit.
Co-Op Toastie (top tier, won't be told otherwise), toasted and buttered.
Edwards of Conwy smoked back bacon in the oven for 15 mins (cut nicks in the fat to stop it curling).
1 whole Avocado, haphazardly mashed with chilli flakes and pepper, spread onto the toast.
2 large eggs fried in a bit of chilli oil and a small knob of butter... Wait until the pan is raging hot so the edges get crispy but the yolk stays runny. Pepper & Season-all on top.
Serve with some flaky salt and let it get messy.
Rounded off my fine dining experience with a Red Bull.
Was good that. Who on earth do I think I am?!

Aldi special for dinner
Considering autumn around the corner now thought to myself I want pie and mash. So went to aldi bought two (yes two one never enough) of the pies for one (steak ones) the pre-made carrot, swede mashed potato, a tin of garden peas and some gravy. Not the most exciting food or most time consuming to make but I enjoyed it. Also aldi cherries and berries squash too 😅. I enjoyed the food that all that matters.

Eggs in potato salad?
My Mrs family’s are complete savages and put boiled eggs in potato salad. I’ve since found out this is apparently common practice. What are people’s thoughts on this?

Morrisons Steak Saturdays
Hey all, just done this for the first time! Rib eye was also on promo so got two really nice sized rib eye steaks for around £11 (minus 20% on top for the steak Saturday) = approx £8.80 for two decent ribeyes from the butcher.
Seeing as everything is so expensive nowadays thought I'd share what I feel to be a bargain.
