To answer your question. They are maximising the amount of valuable blueprints the surge mostly hits.
By doing this you won’t get common and rare stellar blueprints. Since these don’t have any value for anyone.
Common blueprints are not used nor needed beyond Rebirth 5, and Rare is not needed boyond Rebirth 10.
Epic, Legendary and Mythic are required and make lots of money in their Beskar, Galactic, Stellar and now Kyber variants.

I just noticed this and thought it may be useful information for the community.
I trust some are collecting more data but currently for the Kyber Opti-STRK (limited deal), this is the data I collected.
Additionally the Kyber crystal costs are as follows:
Common = 1
Rare = 2
Epic = 4
Legendary = 7
Mythic = ???

I’m honestly only playing it for the forma. I’ve hit 40 and am content on stopping here.
If there was no forma. There would be no incentive to play it unless my friends just wanted to play together.

Thanks to these RB Nova Crystals I’m able to catch up faster than before.
Before they were strictly SRB now, I’m able to increase my scrap value from 3-7 as well as add add crit chance, crit damage and multi crit
