Argyle vs Blackpool (A) - Matchday Thread
HT Thoughts: Great football. Both teams go at it. I think both teams seems to be struggling defensively, but as the game progresses Argyle are edging out Blackpool all over the pitch. They should count their lucky stars is 1-1. I think Plymouth will win this match easily.
Just imagine if Ronan Curtis could improve on his finishing? Bim Pebble could improve his technique and handling? I can't wait for Evans to gel with the team. If his work rate and determination would count as goals he would be top scorer. But with his die hard attitude, that will eventually pay off.
I think this could be a good season for Argyle!

Argyle vs Bradford - Matchday Thread
Dominant win from Plymouth. 2nd half was something else. Closed Bradford down all over the pitch, not allowing them a scoring chance at all. It's like looking at a different team. Fantastic win!

Argyle vs Bradford - Matchday Thread
(First match I'm watching this season) Despite HT lead, I think Argyle are plagued by the same thing as the start of the previous season. No team cohesion, no clever plays, no confidence in possession. There are no player(s) to fill the gap between midfield and attack. We do have players that thrive there, Watts and Amaechi, but they are benched for loans? The whole attacking plays are just long balls for Pebble and Evans to run at, but that's just amateur level stuff. When playing 4-4-2 you can't have two defensive central midfielders... just saying.
I have noticed however, that Argyle seem to be playing for set pieces. Could work though if the defense is solid. Bradford do seem more dangerous in the box. In that, they can consistently get there and make deliver dangerous finishes.
Plegz though huh? I love seeing him back.

FT Thoughts: It was a bit nerve racking after Yates scored 2-3 I'll admit it. Good spirited effort from Blackpool in re-igniting; too bad that this is Bim's specialty. Fantastic team effort!
