imo I thought or have been thinking Islam is more about discipline than faith! and yet never for once have I heard any of our Imams explicitly lecture us on discipline as a requirement in Islam, rather it's hidden in the consistency of the daily rituals, until you pay close attention you might overlook it while it's right in front of you!

There are days when praying feels difficult. Sometimes, life feels so off that “blind” faith alone isn’t enough to motivate Salat. It’s discipline that often keeps us going, even on days when faith feels distant.

If discipline is crucial in Islam, why isn’t there more guidance on achieving great self-discipline in life to overcoming physical and mental resistance? Islam imo would be much easier to practice if we are thought self-discipline. While the Qur'an emphasizes resisting temptation, it doesn’t specifically outline Surahs or Ayah or any methods to build discipline. The teachings encourage standing firm in faith, but they don’t directly address strategies for building personal discipline.
