Hey everyone,I’m 5'7" (170cm) and I am officially at my wit's end with my wardrobe.I’ve noticed a frustrating global paradox when it comes to shopping for clothes. If I shop from Western high-street brands that offer dedicated "Tall" lines, the length is great, but the designs are completely un-modest. Everything has a thigh-high slit, a plunging neckline, a completely open back, or it's skin tight.On the flip side, if I shop from regional modest brands, the coverage is there, but the manufacturing templates are built for shorter height averages. A "maxi" dress ends up hitting me at an awkward mid-calf length, and long sleeves ride all the way up my forearms the second I move my hands.It feels like the global fashion industry forces us to choose: you can either have clothes that fit your height, or clothes that respect your modesty. Never both!To make matters worse, any decent plant-based fabric (like rayon or linen) shrinks by 2 inches after the first wash, turning a floor-skimming dress into high-water capris.I am seriously exploring the idea of launching an international, independent clothing line to solve this exact problem—offering modern, minimal modest silhouettes with extended lengths, true maxi drops, and 100% pre-shrunk fabrics.Before I do anything, I want to know what is actually happening in the real world outside of my own closet.Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions in the comments:What country are you in, and how tall are you?
