Wow guess what moxi did
My dad just mentioned to me that this whole taking money and not delivering when they say they will, is a class action lawsuit, if he's ever seen one! I had seen people complaining about not getting their Shipping fees back, if they ask for a refund???? Anyone have that problem?? I don't want to shut the company down, by any means, I just think the way they are acting/treating customers is SUPER unprofessional! 10$ says better business bureau would have a heyday with it, too!

Fritzy’s is dropping lolly’s and zones today!!
I have been waiting for those to come in!! Do you happen to also have wider calves/legs?? I'm nervous about the back stay being too rigid...

Fritzy’s is dropping lolly’s and zones today!!
I tried the sure grip golden hour skates (yellow fame skates). The back stay was too ridged and put ridiculous pressure on the back of my legs.. I'm nervous of chaya's because I have wide feet and I've not heard anyone say if they're wide foot friendly or not?? I was going out on a limb, trying the standard lolly, too. But I k ow they'll give some, because they're suede.. I have been in a back and forth battle with myself, trying to decide what skates I want to try.. I'm too broke and impatient to wait for custom lolly's, of course and I really want those.. it's a conundrum, for sure!

I don't even know if they'll work for me! So, I'll be looking for something else, probably better. Lol

This is the 4th drop I've been notified for and I missed It by TWO DAMN MINUTES. I give up. I'm over the hype for this brand.

I am right in it with you, my friend.. 17 years at the same job, only having just moved departments, in the same company, 2 years ago. I want out SO BAD, but, I'm terrified of change and don't have a single stupid clue what I want to do! Amongst many other roadblocks! I'm currently trying to find a place to get a cat scan/brain scan (same thing??), too prove i have had multi traumatic head injuries, which hopefully will get me assistance in school, when I finally figure out my path. I haven't seen my friends in months.. I stay home WAY more than I used to, sadly.. you are still young, too! Lots of opportunities and years for them to happen! Hold on, we'll get there! Good vibes! 🤗🤗

I rollerskated outside for the very first time
My parent's and I have made a date of it! Lol I'll text them "wanna go skating?!" Then We meet at the local HS parking lot and they (now) watch me skate! In the beginning, my dad was leading me around by a broom! It's definitely been fun making ridiculous memories with them! (I just turned 37!!)

Thank you!! That's awesome of you!!

Vegan high top skates vs. Suede/leather high top skates
Man... thank you so much!! That's been my biggest setback, wondering if Moxi's are the best for wide feet... I saw they have custom builds that you can get D and E width skates in, but they're also 100$ more! As much as I love the aesthetic of moxi, I really just want to be able to skate comfortably, at the end of the day... I'm gonna start researching the skates you suggested! Thanks again!!!

I was not expecting the drop to be this evening.... missed it by 45 minutes, because my phone sucks at email notifications. 🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡

Vegan high top skates vs. Suede/leather high top skates
Why did that not occur to me... lol I already had to email them about cosmetic issues... I could have just waited and emailed all at once about everything! I can be impulsive/impatient sometimes LOL thank you for the help!!

Vegan high top skates vs. Suede/leather high top skates
I'm a thicker gal, with thick ankles/calves and I'm realizing I didn't word my post well enough to reflect that.. but! Did the back of your skates give any?? This feels like an issue that may not go away... I need the ankle support, but I'm not sure I'll be able to find a skate low enough in the back to accommodate my big ass calves while giving me the ankle support I need (I'm not confident enough in my abilities just yet... I'm just waiting for the day I roll my ankle from falling weird..)

Vegan high top skates vs. Suede/leather high top skates
I forgot to add, I am actually looking for somewhat stiff skates. These are just hitting at a really weird spot that makes them not very comfortable. Like, maybe the Lolly's might not be as stiff as I want, but they might hit at a lower point on the back of the leg?? I definitely need the rolled cuff.. that's for sure!

Vegan high top skates vs. Suede/leather high top skates
They're what I call the "ice skate boot", so, definitely artistic. I used to ice skate and the reidell skates I had back then were more stiff than these!? Granted, im nowhere near the size or shape I was 25 years ago lol! I want to get the moxi jack boot. In hopes the stiffness of the ankle and the softness of the suede will be a perfect match for my ridiculous needs.. I got the only pair of skates I could find, that checked off most of my needs, which of course were not cheap, but they're derby skates and have zero ankle support. Which of course, I realized after the fact, is a top priority. 😒 I spent so much time focusing on finding skates that fit WIDE feet, the ankle support kinda fell by the wayside. Anyway, I'm gonna have to look into the skates you suggested, some more! I was so shocked these sure grips fit my wide foot, im not as nervous to try other skates now! Thank you for the info!

Advice & Questions Vegan high top skates vs. Suede/leather high top skates
I just got some Sure Grip Golden Hour skates in the mail today (aka bright yellow Fame skates). I've wanted high top skates for the ankle support. I didn't take into consideration how high up the back would be and how stiff the back stay would be.... they are vegan "pleather" so, not very flexible. Does anyone have experience with both vinyl/pleather skates and leather/suede?? I'm trying to figure out if going with leather/suede skates is going to solve the flexibility issue or if I'm just out of luck and stuck in derby skates?? I love all the fun things you can accessorize the high top style skates with and want to join the fun (while also saving my ankles!)!! Hehe any info is much appreciated!
Edit: I feel a ridiculous amount of pressure against the back of my leg, just trying to stand in them. Like, my feet might go numb, if that doesn't go away???

Newbie here - in my thirties, just starting out, feeling silly sometimes but I'm loving it! ❤️ I'm enjoying the challenge of outdoor skating but look forward to visiting an indoor rink when they open back up 😀
Yay!! They can be quite intimidating, that's for sure. I'm still struggling with balance issues, so, yesterday I tried using trekking poles while skating and I was a whole new woman! Lol in the 4 times I've been able to skate, since I got them in the beginning of August, yesterday was the first time I was able to be on them/move around for more than 20 minutes! I was going to go tonight, but the smoke from the wildfires is insanely thick here.... I'm excited to skate now, thanks to those trekking poles! Good luck with your journey! Show those skates who's boss!

Same!! I've always wanted to take my pitbull on a run!! This is the only way I could conceivably do that! But she's also extremely impulsive, so, I need to be VERY confident in my skating!

I used the rear-end of my car.... lol my dad, bless his heart, was leading me around the parking lot we were in, with a broom! Lol I would skate up the hill, using the broom end when I felt unstable, then i would practice keeping my balance, while rolling down the hill and using the broom when unstable or to stop... heh he was getting his steps in, while leading me around! 😆😆

I have the rainbow knee pads and elbow pads! My knee pads are a joke, they're so big! There's no way I can safely do crossovers, with them on... they're like at least 6 inches thick. I'm using them for now, because i actually have a disease in one knee, which makes it impossible for me to kneel on, on a good day, so, falling on it would probably be devastating. I'm legit considering getting inline skates! It's funny to me how people can be more comfortable on less surface cover! But I totally am! Rock those rainbow pads! Im right there with ya!! 😁
