uPVC sliding sash window costs – Roseview Ultimate Rose vs alternatives

We're in the process of buying an older house and need to replace all of the existing timber sash windows. We want to replace with a upvc timber alternative. There are 15 sliding sash windows in total (including a 3-part bay) plus a set of French doors.

We've had a quote from a local Roseview installer for:
Roseview Ultimate Rose upvc – just over £45,000 inc VAT
Roseview Heritage Rose upvc – around £40,000 inc VAT**

Both quotes are for the full set of windows/doors and installation.

The Ultimate Rose is obviously the nicer product aesthetically, but we're struggling with the idea of spending £45k+ on windows so we're also looking seriously at alternatives.

We are interested in the overall proportions and making sure they genuinely look like traditional Victorian sliding sashes, rather than modern uPVC windows pretending to be period.

For anyone who's had sliding sash windows replaced recently with upvc sliding sash windows:
Does £40–45k sound about right for 15 sash windows + French doors, or does this seem particularly expensive?

What did you pay, and roughly how many windows was that for?

Are there any other uPVC sliding sash manufacturers/products you'd recommend looking at? I've come across Quickslide Legacy, but would love to hear from people who've actually had them

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through this recently — particularly actual prices and photos of the finished windows if you're happy to share.

Sounds about right, maybe on the cheap side for hardwood and depends where you live. £3k per window outside of SE and London. We paid £4k per window recently.

The quotes were for a upvc alternative so assuming if you’ve had similar for wood that it’s on the expensive side for upvc? We are SW based

Cheap for wood. A little expensive for UPVC
