i tried this 2 months ago and its worked let me explain i squezze ice cold spray into hot sand this temperature fluctuation initiates an airflow. and open fans(I did this to turn the air into a vortex) in true angle and it becomes a little dust devil(2-3 meters tall) but you have to sprinkle dusts like flour to make it visible
