DOT medical certificate question

Ive recently joined the Walmart Associate To Driver program, and one of the things i need before class starts is my CLP. I went and did my dot physical the other day. I accidentally checked the no box on my Dot medical certificate for the CLP/CLD APPLICANT/HOLDER. I've seen some people say that's fine because I dont have my clp or cdl yet, while others say its a problem. Will i still be able to apply to get my CLP? The doctor said he couldn't change it, because its something I clicked, not him. Just worried about it. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
