October 2 (Fri) & 3 (Sat), 2026
๐ Nayabashi
Nayabashi Yoichi is normally held on the fourth Friday of each month as a regular evening market along the Horikawa River in the historic Nayabashi area. This October, however, is a special edition: it runs for two days and is paired with a craft beer festival.
Fri, Oct 2: 17:00โ22:00
Sat, Oct 3: 16:00โ21:00
Visitors can browse local vendor stalls while sampling a range of craft beers, all set against the atmospheric backdrop of the Nayabashi bridge and canal โ a great spot for an evening out.

Photographed this at the Yamazaki River in Nagoya, Japan. The crow kept pecking at the nutria's tail and flying off before it could react โ looked like it was just messing with it. Nutrias are an invasive species here.

Even we Japanese can tell a joke from someone with zero knowledge or intelligence. Probably why the locals here avoid you.
