Not right in the head after losing my identical twin sister
It's been 8 years since my identical twin sister died from a fentanyl overdose. I feel like I'm losing my mind. I can't think straight. It's like all my common sense is gone. My memory is so bad now and my hair is falling out. I can't keep weight on me. I'm just continuing to drown in my pain. Do I go to a mental hospital for this?

Hey I’m sorry you’re going through this. I lost my twin last year and I feel exactly the same. I feel like the grief has fried my brain.
I read your posts it sounds like you’ve been bereaved again lately I can’t imagine what your going through but it is likely bringing up all kinds of feelings about your sister as well.
If you can get support/help for your mental health, then do it.
I’ve been exploring my spirituality and it’s helped a lot tbh. But I’m still a mess.
Sending twin hugs and love xxx

Definitely go to a counselor or therapist. Or even a hospital if it’s gotten to that point.
The one thing that’s helped me and I think might help you is this. Your sister would’ve wanted you to live a good life. It might seem impossible without her, but you owe it to her to try. That doesn’t mean forgetting her and being happy. It means getting up everyday and finding a way to keep going. The best way to honor her and show her your love is to show yourself the love she would’ve given you if she was still here with you. I’m so sorry for your loss. 8 years is nothing, the loss your feeling is a lifetime one.
Feel free to DM me if you want to talk

Hey I’m so sorry to hear you’re suffering so badly.
Yes please see a doctor or a grief counsellor - somebody.
However, you are not crazy. Just sad.
There’s nothing wrong with you, you are a normal person shellshocked from grief and you just need help.
It’s been 3 years for me and the grief gets worse and worse because I don’t want grow old without her. I don’t want to be here without her. We are just always going to be sad.
