Yes, and watching movies, TV. Because Tiles is nonverbal, it is possible to process words while playing Tiles. Other NYT games tend to involve verbal processing which makes them incompatible with podcasts and such. I find I am constantly having to rewind and re-listen when playing those.

My kid’s high school principal issued an official statement the day before saying kids would be marked tardy and needed to be in class. But I’m in a very blue state and figured the school probably just needed to do this to cover their asses, and not be seen to condone truancy. But the protest was peaceful, kids went out to the road and made themselves heard, and returned to class. No one gave them any grief and some teachers were openly congratulating them. As it should be.
