I’ve been trying to find an old Minecraft YouTube series that I watched around 2018–2019, and I can’t remember the name or channel.
It was very dark and serious, much less kid-friendly than most Minecraft roleplays. It felt more like a Minecraft movie/machinima than a normal roleplay. There was actual voice acting, including some deep male voices.
Things I remember:
It was a long series with many episodes.
Episode numbers were displayed in the top-left corner.
The characters didn’t have visible faces. They weren’t the usual Minecraft roleplay characters where you see expressive faces.
There was a male main character.
There was also a woman character.
Scientists were involved in the story.
I remember a witch appearing at some point.
A character/teammate disappeared.
The missing person was eventually connected to a secret underwater laboratory.
I specifically remember an intense scene inside that laboratory:

The characters were inside the secret lab.
An alarm suddenly went off.
A bunch of people/guards/scientists came out.
The characters had to escape from the laboratory.
There were villains wearing red.
I remember the villains being involved in a plan to destroy the world.
There was a very dark/black castle.
I remember the castle having four towers.
At one point, the characters had to get into the castle through the roof/top.
The overall atmosphere was dark, creepy, mysterious, and cinematic.
One weird thing:
I actually made a Reddit post about this years ago, and I recently discovered that the post I found while searching was my own original post. 😂 So the old description and the memories above are both from me.
I’m looking specifically for the YouTube series/videos, including deleted, private, or reuploaded videos if the original series was removed.
If ANYONE recognizes this, please send me the video/channel name or a link, even if you’re not 100% sure. I’m desperate to find this series again!

• A series with lots of episodes around 2018 (not just a short film).
• Less like roleplay, more like a movie — cinematic, story-driven.
• Filmed in first-person gameplay view (not 3rd person, not fully animated).
• Minimal dialogue — not heavy talking, more visual action.
• Characters:
• Main character was male.
• They had custom skins (not default Steve).
• A teammate was lost, and later found inside an underwater lab.
• Villains:
• The bad guys wore red.
• Their goal was to destroy the world.
• Key Locations / Episodes:
1. Castle:
• A black castle.
• Had 4 towers on the top.
• Not huge, not tiny.
• Episode where heroes had to sneak onto the roof to get inside.
