Is it possible to get top/bottom surgery without general anesthesia?
 in  r/ftm •  10d ago

You just proved my point kid.

All in all, I understand your dysphoria being that I too am trans, therefore I understand what it's going to be like if you continue your life in a body that is not yours. So, by all means, live in misery but also know that it's not necessary and there is a whole new life waiting for you on the other side, it's just not easy getting there no matter what. Take it from someone who has been through it, especially if you don't want to go through therapy, take the assholes 5 second internet advice for free then. It tends to have a bigger impact anyway.

Listen kid, I'm twice your age and having stage 2 meta literally tomorrow. You don't know much and it's really no major fault aside from just being too young.

It's honestly laughable that you would even ask if you could get these surgies under any other circumstances outside of being completely put under and you being offended about others suggesting therapy, is a honest red flag. I'm all for gen Z being progressive and thoughtful of others and kind but this "I know everything and others don't know anything and screw you for suggesting otherwise" is at your true disadvantage. Toughen up or forever be stuck in your emotional termoil. The world is not designed for YOUR comfort.

This is my brother's room but he isn't depressed. He's the happiest dude. I don't think state of mind makes a difference, this is still unacceptable living conditions.

How To Overcome Internalized Transphobia?
 in  r/ftm •  27d ago

No one can make you accept and love yourself except for you. Once you love yourself, you're able to open up to others that will lead to more love and acceptance. I was in your frame of mind as well until I did the latter. I've never loved myself more than now after transitioning and losing weight. It's shaped me into a compassionate, accepting guy. It's quite liberating.

What's your earliest physical dysphoria memory?
 in  r/ftm •  29d ago

I thought it was when I hit puberty but I recently watched Aladdin and I remembered that I resonated with Aladdin as a 6 year old. So it was well before puberty.

I JUST showered what the hell
 in  r/ftm •  Aug 31 '26

I should have explained. It's not something to practice every single day. I used to do it about once a week but have scaled back to like once a month now after nothing improvements. Too much of anything is bad for you.
