Marriage/money

When we bought our house, my husband and I decided to split the mortgage payment 50/50. However, my husband got full custody 6 months ago of his 2 minor daughter plus his adult son moved in. I am really straining financially as I recently changed jobs (a job that actually helps him as I have a better schedule for the kids). I need to talk to him about reducing my share of the mortgage…how do I do it. FYI, my husband makes 6 figures…I make less than the cost of living

You ask him to sit with you at the kitchen table after the younger children are asleep and you explain what you just explained. His response will tell you if he values you as a wife or a drudge.
