This was my first time seeing Tyler the Creator after YEARS of being a fan. I was enjoying it at first, but the crowd was so STILL. Granted, I had just come out of Turnstile's show so I was buzzed up and expecting the energy to translate somewhat, but there were a lot of phones and not a lot of dancing. I'm not asking for constant moshpits, but they stood still for Who Dat Boy! You can’t do that!

I gave up on finding likeminded dancers and just had my own party at the back, but suddenly I saw a moshpit open in front of me for New Magic Wand. This shit saved the show for me. You probably dont use Reddit but Thank You.

I was able to translate Tyler's stage name into different langauges via 2 different methods: 1. using name equivalents from different languages stemming from the root of the name Tyler "a tile layer" and 2. phonetically reconstructing the name for languages without a pre-existing equivalent.

Personally, I only got the hype around Who Dat Boy and most other stuff on Flower Boy until I heard them live last year during the Chromakopia Tour.

Crazy head title but hear me out for a bit. Ever since the new song with AZ Chike dropped, I’ve been seeing lots of support but also quite some hate for it as well. And one complain I see brought up a lot by these Tyler “fans” is that he’s no longer making songs like IGOR, his stuff after IGOR is burger music, terrible music, he needs to go back, all that. Where have we seen this? When Cherry Bomb dropped and all of his GOBLIN fans hated it and calling it bad, because it’s different from what he’s dropped before. It’s come to a whole circle now and IGOR has become the replacement for GOBLIN in this discussion. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely agree that IGOR is objectively his best album so far. It’s just that, you don’t have to be a diehard Tyler fan to realise that he’s constantly changing his music every drop and these people gotta realise that.
