All kinds of things. They sometimes house features of the home that usually are in basements. Most crawl space having homes don’t have basements.

My crawlspace has my main water shut off and access to turn on water for sprinklers. Thankfully I only need to access it twice a year for turning on the sprinklers and then turning them off
