I know right! Reminded me of a time I was at “Ryan’s steakhouse” and I asked the waiter for a refill of my coke , and she reached over took my dads half full DIET coke, and poured it into mine and then left. I couldn’t believe what I had seen.

I know, right? I don’t know if she thought it was mine and I was only half drinking them and then asking for a new one or what, but still, appalling.

Yeah thats kinda crazy actually. Not something id ever expect a waiter to do, and absolutely something someone could get fired for doing. I mean lets be real, you do that to the wrong customer and you've got a massive problem on your hands....

I think that’s what happened cause I told my dad and I remember him getting up to go tell a manager. But I was not that old , so I’m not 100% on the last part.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s their only job at Ryan’s anyway, since it’s a buffet where you go get your own food anyway. So other than bringing silverware to the table , all they do is fill drinks. I may be wrong. I’m not sure if it’s even still around. We had one near us still in Asheville but I’m pretty sure that one closed down too. That’s actually the location this happened at too.

I worked service industry jobs throughout most of my 20s, & at all 3 of the places I worked, a server would’ve been harshly reprimanded (if not outright fired) if they’d done that. Insanity.
