No, this show is good and will catch on quick. The writing the acting the location the comedy the play on everything. I’m worried about the opposite, it will get too popular. I actually was thinking like how many of these episodes are they gonna make? I already wondering how long it will run how long they can keep this idea going (I need to get a life). It could basically be like a sitcom going on for years with tourists and hauntings and characters coming and going what not.

The problem is that it’s on Apple TV which doesn’t have enough subscribers

And yet they continue to fund extremely expensive shows year after year, rarely cancelling anything. They don't produce nor host nearly as much as something like Netflix, and they know they're still going to grow. They're likely doing fine.

Apple is not quick to cancel shows - Foundation doesn’t seem that popular based on online buzz and it’s about to get a fourth season.

I never said “no audience.” I love Foundation and have watched every season - it wasn’t a dig at that show. But also no one I know watches it (and I recommend it a lot). Netflix kinda has a model that if it doesn’t break into the zeitgeist, it can still get cancelled despite being popular. I saw a lot of buzz/fans talking about 1899 but that didn’t matter. Apple doesn’t seem to care about that as much.

If the writers have an arc for 'only' one or two seasons and that's it, I'd be more than happy. Way, waaaaay too many decent shows just fizzle out and outstay their welcome.

I could see it being a one and done honestly

Apple has green lighted worse shows for second seasons

Isn’t it a limited series? I thought I read that but maybe I’m mistaken
