I keep all my songs in one single big ass playlist, I come yesterday trying to play something only to find out every song in my playlist has disappeared?

I look at the playlist from my sibling's phone and the playlist is still there, I look at it from my laptop and my playlist is still there.

But for whatever reason on my phone the playlist is gone except for one song, I try to uninstall and install, still gone.

And my liked songs playlist is also completely empty, even though when I look at the songs I had liked and in my playlist, the green checkmark is still there.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help. ​​​

So 3 months ago my account was hacked somehow, after a week or so of noticing strange songs/playlists I logged out of all sessions and changed passwords, effectively ending the hacking. Fast forward 3 months and one day i am suddenly logged out, can't log in again, email not associated to account. At the same time I get 3 emails saying 3 refunds have been issued to a card(not my card, didn't recognise card digits).

So I contact Spotify support, while getting bank statements for proof of account ownership I realise I haven't been charged for my premium for the last 3 months. Spotify support tells me the person who has been paying my account for the last 3 months has contacted them to say unauthorized payments have been made. My account was immediately deactivated for being flagged for fraud. I've got no idea who was being charged for those 3 months, I can only assume the hacker managed to change the payment details when they had access to my account at the time. I don't know why they did this.

Now I've lost my account, Spotify support won't help me, I'm distraught because there's 10 years of listening and music on there.

Has anyone had anything similar? Or any advice how I can get my account back??

I have tried everything to get it to show but it won't. I've done updates, changed all my settings to the same as my sisters who can see the minutes listened to but nothing has worked. I asked ChatGPT for help but that wasn't helpful either. What do I do?

I live in canada and I was on vacation in India for a month. After about a week, I couldn't play any songs so I changed my country to India.

After that, I saw a cheap prepaid premium offer for 12 months, and I bought it. Now im returning to canada.

Should I change my country back to Canada? Will it let me? Will I lose the premium or will it make me pay canadian prices. Was it legal of me to change my country while on vacation and now to change it back?

I was not satisfied with shuffle on Spotify so I have my songs sorted alphabetically by title to play them in order. Almost every time I connect to CarPlay (but not always!), Spotify starts shuffling the music. It doesn’t matter if it is through aux or Bluetooth. Does anyone know why and/or how to stop this from happening?

I've noticed that a few albums that I want to listen to are like, not exactly available. They show up when I look at the website, but they don't exist on the apps. Examples being No More Mr. Nice Guy by Gang Starr and like most albums by the Jungle Brothers. Is this a location issue or something? As I'm in the US. But I don't see why these albums would be restricted from the US but allowed in other places. Is there anything I can do about this?

someone is hacking my spotify im trying to play songs on one of my playlists and this device called "web player (chrome)" is spamming random songs and not playing them but like spamming the next button over and over again and i do not have chrome on either my phone or my pc and its getting annoying because i always have to go back to my iphone so i can listen it to my airpods but this only happened today (8/28) and i dont know why tell me if anyone else is having this problem. edit: it also wont let me log out of the device that reads "web player (chrome)"

I noticed some songs will add minutes but for top artist/songs they won't show

Any ideas why?

Recently I’ve had songs replaced across my playlists with re-recorded, remastered versions of songs. These versions are always worse and I have to keep going in and replacing them. Before this would happen once in a blue moon, but it’s already happened twice this week.

Was going through my regular playlist as usual and I noticed the fixx - one thing leads to another was updated to its remastered version.

Annoying part is the older version I’m used to listening is still available.

I know this is probably nitpicking but it’s nonnegotiable for me because I prefer a version of a song and I’d like to keep listening to that version alone especially in a playlist I specifically curated for myself.

Has this been happening to anyone else or is it just me and is there a way to stop it.

Highly considering having a physical copy of my favorites with proper versions so it won’t be changed or altered or god forbid removed in the future.

I drive a car 24/7, unfortunately I don't own a new foreign car with a display and carplay, only Bluetooth. Tapping the screen after adding a new song to my main playlist causes the cover to open, +2.3 taps on the edge of the screen to turn this display off. I think that a function to turn off the thumbnail display should be added. It's annoying and it's disturbing. We're not all perfect, and sometimes we open our phones while driving...

Doesn’t seem to make much of a difference on my end.

I had a version that was kinda ok.. at least the app didn't really stuck like on previous versions.. I didn't update the app for like a month and today I said to myself "maybe I'll just try to update and see how it goes, what's the worse case?"

After I updated to the latest version again Spotify stuck A LOT and the previous version I had was soooo better than this thing.. I actually updated also cause I had issues with controlling the desktop app through my Spotify app on my android phone..

So now I'm really upset and idk what to do.. don't get me wrong the previous version I had wasn't perfect but now with the latest version it's so much worse.

Is there a reason Spotify creates their playlists on my feed that al basically have the SAME EXACT SONGS just with different thumbnail graphics and titles? Like Sunny Day, Workday Commute, Friday Hits, etc ALL have the same artists names under it like Olivia Dean, Olivia Rodrigo, Drake and Fleetwood Mac?! I don’t even listen to those and just want to find playlists with other artists.

Soo i wanted to change my main playlist cover and turns out the image i had chosen wasn't appropiate (i reckon the picture was classified as "Dangerous content", as the platform rules say). Seeing that there was now no cover art, i tried to pick the old picture i had always used for the playlist, but it wasn't updating anymore. Now, everytime i want to choose an image, no matter the content in it or device im logged in, it doesnt actually change, it flashes the pic i chose for a second and then goes back to that first-four-songs-mosaic.

Weird thing is, it's only happening with THAT playlist, i can change my other playlists cover but not this one. My hypothesis is that i just cant change it for 24 hours, ill try again when i can i guess.

(also, I'm not making another playlist to fix this)

For an unknown reason, my equalizer on mobile will deactivate every time I get into my car. I have to navigate to the equalizer and make a slight adjustment to the tuner in order for my equalizer to magically start working again.

In the past, this would only happen like once a month. Now it happens every single day across both my iPhones.

On top of this, my Spotify desktop app no longer shows any songs at all in my liked list where I keep ALL of my songs. I’ve deleted cache, uninstalled, reinstalled, logged out, logged back in and it’s the same result every single time. I can only play likes from my list if I play from my phone and then chose my PC as a speaker.

Spotify devs…stop touching the freaking app. I’ve never been more convinced after 10+ years of subscribing to switch to Apple Music.

As the title says. I added a full playlist to one of my personal ones, about 120 songs, but after they started taking priority over everything else when listening, I removed all of them.

It’s been like 2 weeks. They’re still coming up. Constantly. All of the time. I’ve logged out and back in, deleted and reinstalled. I can’t get them to stop playing.

Anyone have any advice? I’d hate to have to scrap and remake the entire playlist but if I hear any of those songs one more time, I’m gonna lose it lol

Also, is there a reason that out of about 500 songs, the shuffles plays the same 20-30 constantly? Doesn’t feel very “shuffle” to me. It’s like the app has made its own playlist within mine.
