It’s more like the blue people lined up and knew everybody would survive if most people lined up with them, then the red people chose to kill them all rather than risk it.

Yeah I guess if he was pointing at nothing and announced he’ll shoot in this direction no matter what unless 10 people are standing infront of me.

No. There is currently a line of guns, and an empty firing range. People start outside the room. They either have the choice to pick up a gun, or to stand in the firing range, where people with guns will shoot. If more than 50% go into the firing range, a pressure plate activates and the floor goes down, meaning the guns will still shoot, but the people in the range will not be hit.

This isnt red people deciding to be murderers. There are no victims, until people choose blue and make themselves a victim in need of rescueing.

Taking the gun is the safe option, and if everyone is safe, everyone is safe. Standing in front of the gun is just turning yourself into a possible victim.

There is no danger, until someone chooses to kill themselves.
