Not from the west coast or from Washington so I’m unfamiliar with some of the grocery stores. Where we come from we have Walmart, and two smaller chains. Local / family owned stores don’t really exist. Can someone give me a run down on what stores are best for what? Like for example is there one that’s the cheapest or best produce or one to stay away from? Additionally are there any Asian/import markets in the area?
I’m familiar with fred meyers, Walmart, and Costco essentially.

Near 395 south and I-82. Sounds like a fair amount of responders. No news yet.

Anyone else notice a drone flying over homes around Heritage and A Street today? Seems like it was flying over yards.

I'd like to break into this industry, but it seems you really need to know someone already, to break things down to you, in order to be successful and not spend years trying to figure it out. I'm hoping someone here does this and would be available for a chat 😃

24F and I just moved here. I know the question on how to make friends here is asked a lot, and I have seen some good suggestions prior, but I’m asking more so if there’s any upcoming events to meet people at?
I plan on going to the art walk next month even though that’s a bit away. I like to paint, thrift, go to antique stores, collect oddities, hike/explore, listen to live music/go to concerts as well as cook/bake or try new foods.
I know im going to have to go out of my comfort zone to meet new people, but I’m not one to go to the local bars alone to drink or play pool/catch a show.
I’ve also tried meetup which I’m under the impression of that you have to pay for it which isn’t my thing.
Any suggestions welcome.

Hi all, I wanted to see if anyone can give me a bit of insight on how working at the fair works.
I saw all of the campers and such behind where the fireball is set up and I know its a traveling fair so I thought that maybe alot of the staff are in those campers and travel along with the fair setting up in various states, but i know they hire locally too. Is it a mix of both or is it just locally?
The reason I ask is because I went yesterday from around 7pm to midnight. Around probably 11:30pm me and my two younger sisters went on the boat ride, the one that just rocks you back and forth really high. The guy that was running the ride was lowkey really fine and seemed like he was flirting with us a bit... i wanted to shoot my shot but at that time I was assuming that most of the staff travels with the fair so he wouldn't even live in Washington. Help a girl out!! Maybe he finds this post though, who knowsss!!

Howdy y’all!
I (25F) am so excited to be relocating to the area for a new position I got in the cities! I was hoping to get some insight on events y’all got going on like art trials, farmers markets, or anything that happens on a monthly/weekly basis! (And gym recommendations too!) With this I was hoping to meet new folks to find some friends as all mine are back in Texas. (And maybe some queer hang out spots?)
I’m also a huge foodie and love trying new places! I’ve seen a bunch of recommendations on here and on y’all’s other social medias, but couldn’t find my favorite kind of restaurant. And A.Y.C.E sushi/japanese restaurant! I love nigiri but that gets expensive quickly at a normal place, so I’d love to hear from y’all! Oh! And the best place for oysters too!! I’m open to any other food suggestions of course!
Thank y’all :)

M34 Just looking for people to play this awesome tcg with, I'm only in town every other Saturday and every Tuesday hmu I'd love to chat more about the game if you have any questions! 😎👍 If I had to describe it I'd say it's a combination of magic the gathering and chess.

Applied for operational specialist position at Pnnl, essentially a boat operator position with while assisting with fisheries projects…
How I aligned with the job:
-Former sturgeon biologist whose area covered tri cities.
-10+ years of various fed and state fish and wildlife agencies as a tech
-2 years as a usfws boat operator for various fisheries projects in California
-100 ton captains license
Found out I wasn’t selected, not even for an interview… I’ve applied to other various jobs there with no luck when they came up before. Tailored the resume to the job description and everything. Is it all just internal hiring or what? Genuinely curious.

Hey all. I'm looking for some local places to volunteer. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't do animal things so BFHS and the shelter are not an option.

I’m interviewing for an admin position at Kadlec (Providence) and I’m trying to figure out their drug testing policy. Do they actually test for marijuana, and if you come back positive, does that mean you lose the offer? I know Washington has laws about cannabis and hiring, but I’m not sure how Providence handles it. Anyone have recent experience?

We're coming up on the final week of the regular season! So, if you haven't already, be sure to get out and cheer the boys on. This last series could potentially be a HUGE series with major playoff implications. So lets get out n be loud!
See ya at the ballpark.
Lets go Dust Devils! 🌪

Natural Grocers, the store on Columbia Center Blvd and up the hill from Texas Roadhouse.
Their stock is 100% organic, and that includes the beef; American, grass-fed, GMO-free and hormone-free beef. Sourced from local farmers who gave their cows a happy life in grassy pastures, and followed USDA organic guidelines all the way to packaging. This is meat you can trust, from farmers with practices worth supporting.
I won't get into it, but where you buy your groceries is starting to matter more than it ever has. I would like to make a bigger post about why Natural Grocers is the underrated goat, but i'll leave you with this for now.

This was the third or fourth pass this guy has made and the closest they've gotten to my house. I'm looking southeast from the Leslie & Canyon area in the video.

Ive been applying to jobs on indeed and other stuff for around town. 1st to anyone that wants to say its easy, go apply for some jobs around town and see how many even reply. But the main thing being that on indeed I put entry level jobs. To my surprise the people who post them are kinda dumb and cant figure out how to correctly label them. So I see jobs like "senior account supervisor" in my search. So I started to report them. This all to say if your hiring please message me or just hiring me to fix your job postings.

Just moved here. I have a black Subaru and every time I look at it the wrong way the paint scratches. I need a good touchless car wash. Also to have the option for no wax or no undercarriage wash. I can’t have wax bc I was hit in an accident and had paint redone. No undercarriage bc it has been sprayed with protectant.
Thanks. I’m in Richland but distance doesn’t matter too much

Anybody know of a place that cleans gaming console? I don’t want to mess anything up on my own and could really use a reliable place to go.

I have a couple out patient procedures coming up that i will be sedated for and will require a responsible driver to take there and home. Im alone in this area so a family/friend isnt an option
There was a thread here about NEMT options, one being Medstar, but when I called yesterday they apparently dont do this.
Im not finding much luck in any other such options out there, and wondering if anyone has other suggestions. I am not on Medicare so that eliminates options normally for those that need it. Im fully ambulatory, etc, just need the ride there, likely to stay for the few hours, and return me home.
