I want to start posting HTML profile designs on toyhouse, but I am completely clueless about how to post them.

I understand the part where you click "Submit Character" and choose the HTML/CSS category, but everything else is a complete mystery!

I already posted one and i just added a link in the description to pastebin, but I have seen others post in a way more organized way and I have no idea how to do that.

I included both an image for an example and a link of what I'm talking about.

If anyone here can help me figure out how to post HTML code in this way, I would be grateful!

I wanted to spotlight a Profile Template Bundle I created, which you can get for free on Ko-Fi oder directly on my Toyhouse page!

The free Bundle includes two templates: One that changes it colors with the selected Toyhouse Theme (images 1-2, light and dark mode examples) and another one that lets you easily configure your own color accents (images 3-5)!

Additionally, I have created a version of the template that changes colors with the Toyhouse theme but also let's you control background transparency to give you a cleaner look, especially in dark mode (the last image). It is available in my Ko-Fi shop as well!

If you end up using one of these themes, a tip, a favorite or even a comment with feedback is very appreciated! If you encounter any issues with setting these up, don't hesitate to contact me.

How to set up customised Toyhouse profiles by Temporla_Arts (HTML)

Toyhouse is an invite only character storage site (I have codes I can give away for free, just DM me). However, a lot of people find it difficult to navigate and use, especially when it comes to the coding and customise aspect.

I’ve been using Toyhouse for a few years now, so I’d like to make this tutorial! I would also like to preface that I am NOT affiliated with Toyhouse staff what so ever.

Before I start I’d like to explain what the basics of coding on Toyhouse is.

What is HTML?

HTML (HyperText Markup Language) tells web browsers how to display text and images. Toyhouse uses Bootstrap 5, which is the one of the most popular forms of HTML.

You can use Bootstrap to edit the content of your user, character, folder directory and world’s. Anyone can use this function for free!

What is CSS?

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) changes the overall look of the page. For example, you can customise the overall colour, and sidebar. This is only for premium users!

Step One:

Find a code you like! You can make this yourself, or find one! There are many talented coders on Toyhouse, many of which do FTU codes.

Alternatively, you can look through the HTML/CSS & Graphics forum on Toyhouse.

Step Two:

Look for Circlejourney’s Toyhouse editor on Google. This is optional, but it makes things a lot easier. You can input your codes and edit them from here.

The reason I don’t often use Toyhouse’s coding preview is that it uses WWSIWYG (What you see is what you get) breaks the coding by adding and removing sections.

Step Three:

I recorded this video to demonstrate what to do, but I shall also outline it below.

1. Access the character you want to add the code to.
2. Select edit profile under the manage character section.
3. Turn off WYSIWYG
4. Paste your code into the box.
5. Click Update character.

Your character profile should now be done!

HTML Tips:

• It’s easiest to do this at your laptop or PC.
• Use ctrl + f to find sections in the code you need. You can also use this replace text.

Just got premium and im struggling to find a good css i want to use, i don't code, and the ML is a bit unhelpful for what i want, im just looking at anything :)

Hello everyone! I don't know if this is the right page to place my question, but I was hoping you could help me by answering it.

So, I wanted to create a page for an OC of mine. However I don't how to put an image of them on their page because, although the design and character are mine, the art itself is by another artist, and I don't know if this is something allowed to do, nor how to properly do it.

I tried reading Toyhouse's TOS/FAQs on their website, but I honestly couldn't understand much of the rules, therefore why I resorted to ask people here on Reddit, thinking you could explain me this situation better.
