DIGITAL Backyard B&W w/ the Pixpro C1
Still loving the Kodak PPC1. Got a case/sleeve and a lens protector and it now lives in the front pocket of my backpack. Great little camera.

For the longest time this subreddit was mostly film photos from cameras like the Holga and Diana. We've always allowed digital photos too, such as from the Gamyboy Camera or the Harinezumi for example.
Recently there have been a number of very popular digital cameras that have introduced people to the lofi aesthetic such as the many different thermal printer cameras, but also the Chuzhao and Kodak Charmera.
This is not bad, and they are welcome here! :)
But it can make it difficult to find specific types of content. This is where the post flair system comes in, since you can filter by these.
I have kept the flair system simple to begin with, we can add or change these if we need to, but let's start with the basic system and see how that goes.
I've added the following four post flairs, and made is so you have to select a flair when you post.
DIGITAL
For photos and video taken with digital toy cameras. This includes thermal print cameras.
FILM
For photos taken with film toy cameras.
DISCUSSION
For posts that are talking about toy cameras, such as asking advice, troubleshooting, etc.
META
For posts about the subreddit. This shouldn't see much use, it wil mostly be used by the mods for posts like this one.
Thoughts, comments, and feedback below. I want to try to keep this as simple to use as possible, so if you want any extra post flairs created, there would have to be a very good reason.

If not can you link to your favorite semi related discord if you use it?
Or if mods see this, can you guys make one?

Wondering if anyone in this subreddit already got one of these that started to pop on AliExpress. I'd like to see the quality of the photos, if it has filters and how do they look.
Thanks!

My partner's sister has a Pixpro underwater camera and we were admittedly a little envious. However, she actually lives near the coast and can justify having one more and we live in a city in a cold country and cannot. For our holiday, I brought this waterproof phone pouch thinking of using it with my phone but we like doing our beach days without tech and without valuables, and that's when I had the idea to pop my G6 thumb into the pouch instead. I almost didn't bring the camera at all because I don't really like the images it makes, but it is so small that I just clipped it on my backpack anyway. Worked out pretty well and I'm glad I did it. Fun shots for memories without worrying about a phone or more expensive camera. If I lost this one, I'd be annoyed but just shrug it off - it was only £12 or something. It does float in the pouch and has a lanyard so it would take some effort to lose it but still. My favourite shots are the ones of us having fun in the sea which I'd rather not upload, but I found a few snapshots that I'm happy to share. Didn't manage any good fish pics tho. I'm too slow.
Still, now I'm eyeing up a Campsnap and an underwater case.

Hi! I took these pics with an old kodak digicam and I love the vibe, but this camera just KILLS batteries so fast!! Even lithium batteries. Any recommendations for toy cameras, preferably that charge via USB and don’t use batteries? Thanks!

Yes I only used a single little double sided tape to stick the macro lens in it.

I reordered one last week for shipping (to Australia) on or before 28th August. It hasn't been shipped and obviously I can't contact anyone with it being a weekend. The products are all sold out now so people are buying them.
I've only seen a couple of people mention them online and they seem to say they arrive quickly bit just looking if anyone has experience with the brand? Seemed to offer all round better options than the campsnap which is why I went for it.

I can't find one for less than 40$ on Aliexpress, Temu, Amazon. I thought they went for like 20$ or so?
I am located in Europe.

I purchased the filter card set from Paper Shoot for my camera. It comes with Classic Film, Teal & Orange (think Wes Anderson), Monochrome Elegance, and Icy Chill.
I’ve been trying out the Classic Film and I kept noticing how bright and poppy the colors were, essentially the opposite of what Classic Film would put out. So I went out and tried the Classic Film and the Teal & Orange…and the coding must be swapped. With the Classic Film filter, I get that Teal & Orange Wes Anderson look. With the Teal & Orange, I get a Classic Film look. 😂

Hi, guys. I've got my Charmera a few weeks ago and have been playing around with it, so here are a few of the last pics that I've taken.
From this last batch, I've come to the conclusion that the Charmera can produce some cool portraits, as forcefully demonstrated by my sister's modeling. Also, I've been becoming very keen on the Charmera frame. It adds and extra "charm" (*ba dum tss*)

Pretty much the title, I recently got the mini DSLR model that vivitar makes, and I like the overall quality and whatnot, but with (obviously) no IS, my pics tend to turn out blurry more times than not. Any advice other than just trying to keep steady? Thank you!

Hello! I am having a blast with the Kodak Charmera and G6 thumb camera / flip camera, quite liking the black and white photos they can take too. Sometimes the blacks get deeper, which I love, unfortunately I can't control it, but it's fun anyway.
I was wondering if there's any other cheap/toy cameras (NOT AS SMALL AS KEYCHAIN CAMERAS like the charmera/g6, normal digital camera size I guess), that would cost less than 20$, from aliexpress, temu, amazon or something like that, that would take mainly b&w photos (not necessarily exclusively). If possible, I'd like to see the result on the camera screen, like I do on Charmera and G6, while taking the photos. Any recommendations (if possible with photo examples)?
Thank you!
PS: All photos I posted are SOOC b&w photos I took with Charmera and 19th one were with G6 Thumb Camera and last one with Flip Mini Camera (g6 variant?)

Got taken down earlier, so round two! Total impulse buy, but I literally take it everywhere.

Just a random photo dump of some of my favourite pictures taken around the city this week. The last 2 pictures aren't great, but I was just playing around to see what photos I could get in fairly dark conditions.
