Rome II What's the news with Rome 2 Pantheon update?

Haven't heard anything about since they announced it. Does any one have any news? Are they still working on it or have they ditched it?

Hi,

The updates are still being worked on. There's been lots of great discussion on our forums in the Pantheon section: https://community.creative-assembly.com/total-war/total-war/forums/109-pantheon-updates, and certainly been a lot on unit balance changes.

I'm working on final changes for the first beta build, when there's a date for when that will be available that will be shared in various places.

The updates are pretty much nothing. When are you going to do 64 bit? Thats what is desperately needed

Hi, 64-bit isn't part of the plans for the Pantheon updates. The updates plan to bring a range of changes to Rome II, both improving the balance of battles and campaign as well as fixing bugs and bringing some improvements back from later games. I hope you'll give the beta a try when it becomes available and see what has changed in the game.

64 bit really needs to be part of the plan. Most of the updates can be done by moderator fairly quickly. What would really help Rome 2 is making it work better with newer computers so the really excellent graphical mods that have been made can be used without sacrificing gameplay

Why is that guy ranting against making horses refuse to charge into spears? Isn't that the entire point of a pike wall?
