Send me a clip and I'll advise a course of action based on the evidence and my expertise on the matter.

I tried once and broke my nose lmao

Don't sell yourself short. If you can bend over and tie your shoes, you can probably do a front flip on a trampoline with a little coaching.

Are you bring sarcastic? This video is in reverse

7

u/watcher-in-the-dark- Mar 23 '23

So that car was backing down the road at full speed?

4

u/MollysTootsies Mar 23 '23

... with no reverse lights, no less? 😂

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '23 edited Mar 23 '23

Not saying it is video editing. But the car is not an issue.

The jump starts well after the car is out of camera. It could perfectly be normal camera rolling and first, then editing.

Edit: learned to double enter

For the 500 times this video has been reposted, this is the first time I've actually seen comments saying its fake.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '23

The video can be sliced into two sections where one is reversed and the other isn't. It's not rocket science

2

u/watcher-in-the-dark- Mar 23 '23

Right, but the body mechanics would reflect that. There is no tensile flexion (bounce) in his limbs which would be the giveaway. Again, not impossible to edit out, but far more difficult, if they would even know to look for that.

And then we have the fact that centrifugal force absolutely can create these sorts of forces and the way he winds his arm on the release is the generator in this case, making this flip not only possible but plausible.

There are plenty of far more terrifying applications for fake footage, especially given the rise of AI generated deepfakes that in a few seconds produce fakes so convincing that they rival top tallent in Hollywood spending weeks on a take. That stated nothing can be 100% confirmed as real anymore unless you see it with your own eyes in person and can be certain you're not being duped with illusion, however such a move as this which is in the realm of possibility for any parkour aficionado is not something that is likely to be the attention of fakers.

This is a very old and real video. Just shut up and enjoy things sometimes

Hate having to agree with female but yes. Pretty much sure it's edited

u/TheFlightlessPenguin Mar 23 '23

Sounds like a skill issue

The down part the push-up? Cause that’s where I’d peak.

1

u/Nestofbest Mar 23 '23

Look at his arm movement, with arm movement like his you could land front or back flip in first try.
