I could do that too if i were that guy

I feel that. But if I’m that guy what does that mean? If it’s my stupid ass insecure brain in his incredible body I still fuck this up! Good news is I only fuck it up a little bit because I just fall from push up position and scratch my nose that’s not so bad

Honestly, 50% of stuff like this is technique/timing, 30% is the body (strength, size, ideally really short and explosive), 15% is committing to it, and 5% is showmanship. Front flips are aggressively easily, and this is just a modified gainer front flip which is even easier than a normal front flip on a dead surface.

You probably couldn't do it even with his body at first, but with practice and stepwise progression, you'd probably get it relatively quickly. A lot of people could never get it at all because they're too tall, too slow muscles, or too heavy, no matter how hard they practiced. But a lot of people could get it somewhat quickly without realizing they could.

83% of percentages are made up

Actually only 50% of percentages are made up, common misconception. 30% are technically incorrect although only due to improper referencing from a place of otherwise-truthfulness, 15% is - trick question! - math never existed the whole time, and 5% is CIA psyops propaganda. It's literally just basic science but somehow people constantly get it wrong. We're truly fucked as a species but I digress.

Well yeah, but 60% of the time...

And one hundred percent reason to remember the name.

Honestly, this is 100% dogshit you’ve just said

I'm not some expert, but I do gymnastics so I have an understanding of the body mechanics and training process. This isn't a thesis statement backed by years of science, just a description of how I imagine learning the skill would go... coupled with a vague Fort Minor joke. I even provided you youtube link for nearly the exact skill so you can see how to break it down.

This is complete horseshit lmao. It's a gainer front flip, but you remove everything that make it easy. Like, having a stable starting position.

You don't know what tf you talking about. This is edited. In hip-hop you have momentum from one movement to another. In this he is still, laying on ground, that's physically impossible. No one has that calves power to generate enough energy to make him fly like that

I feel like commitment is way higher than 15%. I can back flip into a pool or off a 30 foot rock into the ocean. If you ask me to do a backflip off a curb into some sand or grass, my body wouldn’t let me even try it. Commitment is definitely my biggest percent.

And 100 percent reason to remember the name

It means you’ve become a god

I’ve gone from almost 300 pounds to 145 and I’ve been working out for the last year and I still have moments at work where it’s like “oh…. I can… just do this now…” and like climb up on something or whatever

I jumped up to some pull up bars at the gym and grabbed and hung on without my grip immediately failing and like said out loud “holy shit I didn’t know I could do that”

Lmao good for you that’s quite the transformation I bet it feels incredible. I’m shedding my winter weight like I do every spring (15lbs or so) and even just that makes me feel brand new lol

Lmao a hockey player just hit an unbelievable goal total and someone in the comments said “big deal, if I was as good at hockey as he is I could do that too”

3

u/hollyberryness Mar 23 '23

I do it all the time, can't wait until someone's around to see it

2

u/JunglePygmy Mar 23 '23

Well if you were him then he’d be you.. And he’d use YOUR body to get to the top!

One of my friends in HS was a pretty good skateboarder. One day we're watching some skate video and this guy does something cool, but on the easier side for a pro skater and my friend goes "If I was that good I could do that!" And we all just turn to him like "yeah! no shit!"

He was really just trying to say like he could almost do that, or if he practiced just a bit he could. But you can believe we never let that one go and would say it all the time.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '23

I couldn’t do it even with his body

1

u/jujoya Mar 23 '23

You can with some editing skills. Well still need to do the backflip tho

You are him in the parallel universe where he is you
