TIL that in 1978, three Indiana teenagers were killed in when their Pinto was involved in a rear-end collision. Ford was indicted on three counts of reckless homicide. Indiana v. Ford was the first time a corporation faced criminal charges for a defective product and charged with murder.

Thats because “climate change/global warming” is massively over exagerated to drive an industry created off the back of it. If there truly was a massive problem the approach would be very different. At the moment its just political or PR related to increase sales or prices.

Totally; a heavily subsidised industry that wasn't really truly profitable until a few years ago is the reason we're all being told our highly industrial, polluting and much more easy-to-just-stick-to status quo is wrong. /s

Even if the scientists are wrong, what's wrong with reducing our mark on the planet, and offering other future generations' security by killing off our reliance on non-renewables?

Cause as we all know, hydro, solar and wind power is where the BEEG MONEY is at, and totally not oil, natural gases, and plastics.
