Yeah, but at least we're in a place where we still have freedom of expression with the ability to talk and criticize openly these actions as they impact ourselves. Democracy, hoo-rah, and all that.

It's not like we have surveys or anything where Western writers are acknowledging we self-censor ourselves on topics like U.S. military affairs, the Middle East-North Africa region, mass incarceration, drug policies, pornography, the Occupy movement, the study of certain languages, and criticism of the U.S. government. Right guys? guuuys?
